Specsavers
With such a big household name, came lots of opportunities for different projects and campaigns. Ranging from optometrists creating social commentary videos are eye health conditions, all the way to Specsavers sponsoring the worst football team in the UK.
Below is just a snippet of these projects, showing the creative highlights and breath of work I was able to create just for Specsavers alone.
Show stopping campaigns
Whether it was spreading awareness of hearing loss using Rick Astley’s iconic song or sponsoring the UK’s worst football team and hoping Harry Redknapp would turn it around. Specsavers did it all!
They say laughter is the best medicide?
Maybe not for presbyopia - but comedian Jen Brister certainly did make the crowd laugh with her stand up, bring heart lighted fun and awareness to presbyopia
Rocketman himself
Now you can’t talk about about fabulous fashion and glasses, without the king him self - Elton John. Well luckily Specsavers reached out and created this amazing collaboration to showcase some funky new frames.
IS it all campaigns?
No actually, social is where it’s at! Especially for spreading correct information online.
Some projects never see the light of day
But that’s okay - as for this SpecsaversBot , the little web robot would have taken your ‘Should have gone to Specsavers’ moments from twitter and turn them into ‘hilarious meme’.
Safe to say if robots had eyes, he should have gone to Specsavers.
Did you know children are scared of getting their eyes tested?
So thats why the Optomonsters were born! To help children realise getting their eyes tested isn’t scary with these fun little creatures by their side.
not all fun and games
Working with The Big Issues, a series of videos were produced focused around Homelessness was produced. And the impact having access to eyecare health made to these people.
Making a difference
Specsavers has a clear mission, making sure everyone has the chance to get access to eye health care. As early diagnosis of symptoms can be life changing. Especially to the people of Kolkata with help from Specsavers ROI.
